We are actively providing volunteer services in our University City neighborhood of Philadelphia. One such volunteer project is the Calvary Methodist Church renovation.

We have been providing assistance in the planning, fund raising, and renovation of this historic church for some years as a founding member of a friends group.

The main sanctuary of the1908 building is noted for its stained glass windows and domes attributed to Tiffany, as well as a world-class Brothers Odell organ. The church's interior, in nearly-original condition, features murals and magnificent wood and plaster work.

Currently the church is seeking funding to renovate some of the stone-work on the exterior, and to correct structural problems which threaten the church's massive gables and the Tiffany windows.
